We learned of Norm's death five years ago today. The time has passed very quickly and the pain has lessened. I am quite sure, however, that the pain will never go away. He was unique and admirable in so many ways. It is such a shame to have lost him.

It's now been nine years -- nine years ago today I got the call from my brother Nathan that Norm had been found dead in his apartment in Washington. Time flies by, but I miss him as much today as I did nine years ago.
