Magic in the Moonlight

Well, when I get back into something, I get back into it. And that goes for movie reviews. Admittedly, I have had a busy week in that regard. Woody Allen's Magic in the Moonlight went wide this weekend, allowing me to see it over on my side of the Caldecott Tunnel. I caught a matinee with V, and we were both enchanted. The movie revolves around Colin Firth as the spiritualist debunker and Emma Stone as the spiritualist. Is there anyone on earth with bigger eyes than Emma Stone? Anyway, Woody Allen continues to demonstrate his fascination with magic, illusion and  the meaning of life. A charming film, well-acted, well-shot, and quite funny. Among the top quartile of Wood Allen movies, in my estimation.
