Part 5-Not So Great Jobs

If Offered a Choice

I really want people to play, sing and enjoy this song, which I consider public domain. The simplest URL for this page is www.schindler.org/c

I paid to have it arranged for close harmony/barbershop quartet.

Close Harmony Arrangement (PDF or Sibelius).

I have a recording of this version (learning tracks are available).

[Ed. note: I have lots of other love songs too...]

I paid a freelancer to set my poem If Offered A Choice to music:

Buy it on Itunes:

If Offered a Choice - Single by Paul Schindler

Or listen to it here for free (right click to download):

If offered a choice

Or on YouTube

Or Paul Schindler/If Offered A Choice on Spotify

If you’re offered a choice
Please pick me again

I’d be surprised
If we’re offered choices
About other lives.

Where we end up,
Not ours to say,
When time comes
For another day

Karmic, cosmic, vast.
But in case you’re ever asked.
I’d be pleased no end,
If you chose to dance with me again.

And so,
I hope that you will do,
The very thing that I plan to,
Raise your voice,
If offered a choice:

”I would dearly love to see
Just how nice that it’d be;
Another turn on the wheel.
For you and me.”

Probably: amazing, again.
