About Women 3: Misc.

…My daughter Rae mentioned a quotation from a newsletter: “The fact that artificial intelligence mastered confidence before accuracy is the surest sign yet that it was designed by men.”

…Clark Smith points out that in French the word problem is male and the word solution is female (in German, neuter and female). Don’t bother writing; I know foreign noun genders are random. After all, in German, the girl is neuter and the door is female.  Despite that this aperçus is funny because it is true.

…It turns out Mattel has some public spirit on an important issue they helped exacerbate: The Barbie Dream Gap Project. I did my bit years ago, awarding MIT “best girl science student” trophies in local middle schools.

Well, maybe “behind every successful man there is a woman,” and my favorite variation, “is a woman who is rolling her eyes,” but more to the point at hand:

Behind Every Great Woman…

…is herself.

…is a fish riding a bicycle.

…is a man trying to stop her.

…is another great woman.

.…is a tribe of other great  women who have her back.
