By Paul E. Schindler, Jr.
In the hospital
the other day
I had time to think about
what we had
and did
and meant
to each other.
It’s been great.
Two things came to mind:
Wrong tense.
Have and do and mean
to each other,
It’s great.
Second:
Inadvertent plagiarism.
Stephen Stills said it differently,
But not betterly:
Said and done and felt
about each other.
And,
By the grace of God and Amma,
Will have, will do, and will mean
to each other.
