If you only have time for one of these, listen to If Offered A Choice, the No. 1 hit among my small circle of friends. See me singing these at my Recital Page.
Since January 2020, I have been writing love poems to my wife of 40 years, Vicki, then paying a musician to put them to music and sing them. He wishes to remain anonymous. They are all public domain and royalty-free, and I encourage their distribution and public performance. Sheet music is available on request from [email protected].
I honestly believe they have brought, and might continue to bring, some joy (or in the case of Wounded Bird, some solace) to people in these difficult times.
(Note: you can also listen to my parodies) (or read my other poetry)
For each song there are two versions: one by a professional freelancer and one by me. The versions I sang are marked "PES." You can download any of these by right clicking on the file name, or you can listen to them on Spotify or buy them on Itunes.
Lead Sheets are available for all these songs.

For the technically adept, if you’d like to download my love songs, you can right click on the song to download it, then load it onto your phone… if you’re that good.
OR
I have taken the plunge and posted my love songs, plus a novelty song (Farmer’s Market Blues) and an inspiration song (Radical Acceptance) as an iTunes album called Lyrics by Paul. I would have been happy to give this music away, but iTunes requires a minimum price of 99 cents. I’ve had a few people tell me they don’t have the technical skills to download files to their phones.
These songs are also on Spotify. I am the Paul Schindler whose album cover is my picture, not the one whose covers are abstract art.
Wounded Bird is an apology song.
